Private landscape design and build project
Landscape design build project in Kent
We were asked to survey the whole site and design full plans for each area of the grounds. This included replacement York stone patios, Portland stone steps, a bespoke oak swimming pool shelter, a cutting garden to give flowers throughout the summer and planting to the front of the house to give all year interest with structural plants and perennials. Space either side of the entrance drive was cleared of self seeded Silver Birch and Rhododendron exposing the front of the house, giving a lighter more open appearance. The entrance was planted with specimen Rhododendron, Drimius and Laurels to soften the edge of the woodland area; the drive was then edged with granite sets before being lined with buxus balls and up-lighted to guide visitors along the drive.
The area for the children’s climbing castle and sunken trampoline was prepared and levelled before being enclosed with a flowing yew hedge to contain the children and dogs.
