The skill sets used to deliver show gardens to award winning Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) standards are the same as those that we use when building our clients gardens.
When building a show garden the designs have been scrutinised by the RHS, those who write the rule book, with only the best designs approved to build a garden at the UK’s most prestigious garden shows. The exacting standards demanded within the show garden world require exceptional planning and attention to detail. The tight time constraints with judging and the show opening add pressure but also illustrates our ability to work to deadlines whilst keeping quality at the forefront of our minds.

Hampton Court Show garden – Awarded Gold
We designed and built a conceptual garden based on the famous poet Rudyard Kipling’s poem “My Boy Jack”.The Kipling Garden, with its overhead sails, waves of grasses and soaring sculpted birds, narrates a Mother and Father’s search for news of their 18-year-old son Jack, lost in action in France during World War 1. The Father, Rudyard Kipling, tracks down soldiers asking: “Have you seen my boy Jack?”
The garden incorporated a boardwalk to represent his long search; grasses symbolise the sea and France is depicted by tall slim trees, a familiar sight lining so many French roads.

Chelsea Flower Show – Awarded Silver
This was the start of our relationship with Heather who six weeks prior to her Chelsea debut found herself without a landscape company to build the garden for her. When asked if we could help we jumped at the chance to build our first ever Chelsea show garden. The Chilstone Garden was remarkable for its bright turquoise outdoor carpet, everlasting ice sculpture and stone temple.
