Press Release August 2016
Following significant development in the last two years, Twig Group based in Goudhurst, Kent, specialists in ecological contracting, grounds maintenance and landscape design, have moved to larger offices to accommodate their proposed growth with improved facilities and expansion potential .
Since 2002 when Twig was established, they have built a comprehensive portfolio of clients across the South East and further afield. From complex, ecologically sensitive activities, through to logistically challenging multi site grounds maintenance contracts, Twig Group are now working across 14 separate sites for a major house builder and working with 12 different ecological consultants.
Their success and growth is as a result of the unique approach to working with housing developers. They can advise early on in the process, alerting their clients on what to look out for when purchasing a site or prior to construction commencing. Practical solutions are provided with an understanding of construction programmes and timings to keep projects on track, which means a cost effective ecological service.
Twig has substantial experience also in designing invasive weed control management solutions specific to the site, and wherever possible use non chemical techniques. They are specialists in ground maintenance having achieved a 51% increase in contract values in the last year. An area of significant growth in the last two years has been around Solar Panel Farms which involves operational management of the grass and development of wild flowers and hedge planting. They are proud to be working with brand like Skanska, St Barts Hospital, and Redrow Homes.
David Banfield, Planning Director for Redrow Homes said, “ We have found Twig Group to be the missing link between ecology and on the ground practicality and they are commercially aware, saving us both time and money “
David Eyre, Managing Director, Twig Group commented “We have seen rapid growth in the last two years and are pleased to be working with some leading companies in their field. This move offers us the expansion potential to develop the opportunities in front of us, particularly within the construction industry”.
Since Twig was established in 2002 it has built a comprehensive portfolio of ecological, grounds maintenance and landscape design services.
From complex, ecologically sensitive activities, through logistically challenging multi site grounds maintenance works to show garden design & build commissions, Twig is able to provide an outstanding service to its clients.
